About One may say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I believe that beauty is seen with the eye behind the camera lens and then captured within a photograph. Born September 14, 1987, In Brooklyn,NY. I, Clayton Carr, have been taking pictures since the young age of six. Inspired by my mother, the first picture I ever took was with a Polaroid instant film camera. Fast forwarding to today and I am still taking pictures. To me Photography is not the medium that i was meant to do but it is the medium that I was destined to do. I have dedicated my life to capturing and creating images that people can feel. As a person, i am highly Influenced and driven by the pop culture of Art, Beauty, Fashion, And Music: I Creatively capture images that are full of youth and energy. My journey as a photographer has been an interesting one. I started off taking pictures at the age of six and have been doing so ever since. Pictures to me have always been a form of Art. A form of Art that has allowed me not only to express myself, but to express the vibe and ideas of the environment and people around me. When I look behind the camera I don't think. My pictures are only inspired and captured by my senses and the emotions.What do I see, hear, smell, taste, and what do i get from the substances i touch. These are the emotions that I gather up to create a image within my mind. I don't prefer black and white nor do I prefer color, I prefer what ever suites the moment. I am not like every other photographer. I can honestly say that I do not have a favorite photographer. But I do like to pay tribute and give homage to all the photographers before me and even the working ones that live today. But I can definitely say that my type of photographers mainly lived yesterday. They were a set group of photographers with the mind set to do what ever they wanted. They captured and depicted images from a era where freedom of expression was stressed. The will of freedom has pushed many society's to the brink of a new era and advancement. It is my mission and my personal goal as a photographer to use that same freedom and push the medium of photography to a new limit. To clearly express people's idea's, thoughts, and feelings into an image. To creatively capture the mood of the environment and to deliver a emotional punch that will impact the heart of today's society. I Am Clayton Carr and these are the objective's of my mission. The journey has just begun............

Director of Photography

I was born to be a Photographer and caputure the world from behind the lens of a still camera. Also, i have been trained at the New York Film Academy on the Backlots of Universal Studios to be a Cinematographer. Class 2011.
